3rd Annual FREE Pioneer Flats Shootout highlights:

Mrs. BPMS & I spent last weekend at the 3rd annual Pioneer Flats FREE Shootout hosted by Abe's General Store near Franklin PA. This event is set up to help the brand new shooter get started in the hobby. Several new shooters joined us last weekend for a cool 17 target woods walk. We have made some fantastic new friends during the 3 trips we've made it to Pennsylvania. We are looking forward to attending the 4th annual Shootout in 2023. Once again Mrs BPMS is hard on the BPMS. Great video enjoyed it alot. To bad I gotta wait a week for more. I will be shooting Wednesday again though.

Yeah I wish we had some muzzloading friendly events like that around here.

Most shoots aren't anything like the ones I like to organize and attend.
Most shoots are too serious, I'm in the hobby for fun, not deciding who wins a match with small prizes.

Winchester, VA. I'm actually quite close to the N-SSA, but I'm not into the Civil War Reenactment or Skirmish stuff. I do know the 146th National Skirmish is coming up next weekend, so I might pop out there for a look around.

I'd LOVE to attend the N-SSA someday....not as a reenactor, but, as a camera man.
Maybe I'll make that 7 hour trip next year.
