.442 cal pistol

I'm lucky to have just acquired a .442 cal Tranter 1st model revolver. I'm assuming that .447 balls will work well to seal themselves in the Chambers. Has anyone got experience with shooting this calibre?

It could work. Is the rammer strong? I should ask is there a rammer on the revolver? The Tranters are rare here.Can you give us a picture? That bore size is just not here in a revolver.
