Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.
We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.
Found this page while on another forum I go to and was wondering if these barrels would be worth makeing a muzzleloader out of. The price sure seems right?? Link removed
If these are original Numerch Arms barrels, they would probably make a fine muzzleloader. I had a numerch arms minuteman for many years and it shot every bit as good as any other muzzleloader I have owned. Three other people that I shot with had a numerch arms barrel and they all liked them.
They where listed as 45 barrels with 445 bore diameters and .010 deep groves with 1 in 56 twist. Octagon with differant widths across the flats and differant length barrels. And at only about 50 bucks I had to wonder if these would be possible round ball barrels for another underhammer I was thinking of makeing. Am I right in thinking that round ball barrels genneraly have deeper rifleing then a barrel ment for conicals. And just what is considered deep for rifleing.
And Hunting Dawg did I do something rong by puting that link in ther? Just wanted to share a possible good deal.
Well it was on numrich arms. Do a search for round barrel blanks. It showed the octagons and the bottom of the search results.
 Past all the junks.
I have bought three barrels from the same kind of link in another forum. I did not know they were not allowed. Is it ok for them to just tell us where to go look?
