Here is that silver mounted Bedford with some test groups with several powders. The 35 grain groups are the best I ever shot with the 10 or so .40 rifles I made. The Pyrodex and Triple 7 loads needed thicker patches. (If you hold down CONTROL and hit the + key, you can enlarge the photo so you can read the targets).
