.45 TC Hawken Ammo

I shoot 60 grains of fff Goex with a 440 prb in my 45 cal T/C and shoots great! Oh I run size 15 patch with hoppes #9 plus lube.

 

I have shot TC's for years......50 grs Swiss 3 f and a 451 RB with a .015" patch with Lehigh Valley lube usually will produce ragged hole groups at 50yds....won matches with that load several times...no more than 70 grs for hunting

My T/C Hawken like 50 grains FFFg, .015 wonderlube patches and a .440 roundball. Shoot all day and not have a sore shoulder.

I just shot this combo tonight and cut holes at 50 yards. I will be squirrel hunting tomorrow with it!
