Muzzle loading training needs a low cost source for a fair quantity of 3F black powder. shooting. Any suggestions?

Have you contacted any of the large suppliers? Good chance for youth shooting you will get donated or greatly reduced priced powder.

Talk to the powder manufacturers, they're more than willing to work out a deal on powder. Get creative on the rest of the consumables as well. Don't be shy to ask for donations and support. That's what we did.

You haven't contacted Schuetzen Powder 866-809-9704 and talk to me. We donate powder on a regular basis. We only ask for shipping and handling fees.

Hi Ms Dudley. We NSSA instructors greatly appreciate all you guys did for us this summer with the Scouts and we're working to expand our instructor pool for next spring. The powder and caps worked fine. The load I set up for the muskets was balanced rather well on more than one occasion, I was able to run it well in excess of 40 shots straight with no degradation in accuracy.
