I have one, an early s/n fron 1979-80. It's a great gun. One day I'll add the smaller caliber one to the collection.
I have wanted one of these for DECADES... Please PM price to me?
Thank you!

Ben, I have #133 it's .50 cal. with a 7/8 barrel and walnut stock. The picture I posted is of #6969 with the standard cherry stock and 15/16 barrel. You can't believe the difference between the two...

Has the actual rifle that is potentially for sale ever been posted, or an asking price given yet? I don’t think so. This is another “For Sale” ad that appears to be rambling away from the OP…

Care to elaborate on the differences? Which is "better?"

My .50cal was reworked by a gunsmith before I acquired it. It's gorgeous, functions flawlessly and shoots true. Cherry stock, 15/16" barrel. S/n #2681; I emailed Dixie, they told me it was 1979-80.

Eventually I'll post them side by side in the flintlock section so we can see the differences. The #133 is much lighter and not at all muzzle heavy. The stock is walnut rather than cherry and is narrower with more drop. I doubt you can see the difference without them next to each other. Aside from the barrel and stock all other furniture is the same. All of mine have L&R locks.

I have the original lock and an L&R RPL lock. When I bought it, it arrived with a hooked frizzen(thx USPS). I filed a claim, won, and bought the L&R. I gave it the proper patina via LMF Barrel Brown. It was NOT "drop in!" I sent it back and L&R fixed the problem, works great. But I have since found a replacement frizzen for the original lock and am back to using it. Parts are virtually unobtainable for these guns, so I'm glad I got the spare lock!

Look You have a new requirement in the for sale. of a pic with date and ID. adds should also be required to post a asking price. These adds at times of , I might, maybe just testing the market I don’t have pictures but will get some. Shouldn’t fly. It causes confusion. I responded to this add first of interest. But I withdraw. Thanks. I’ll move on

Not sure I really want to sell her, but here goes. Miruko 50 cal Dixie TN Mtn, that started out as a caplock. Converted to flint with and L&R lock. Have the box and parts to convert back to cap. Mint condition.
Have wanted one of these since the '80's. Could you send pics and price?

I find it hard to believe that after 2 pages and 35 posts to this thread, that the hall monitors here haven’t s#%*canned this ad for non-compliance with stated forum guidelines! NO pics, newly required date and ID tag…or even a price from the OP!!! Moderators, flush it please!
