Hey guys, I recently bought a beautiful 50 cal. Hawken caplock. Black walnut, tight set trigger, clean. She is a Churchill with investarm barrel from Italy. I can't find any info online. Does anybody have one of these? :surrender:

I have a Cabela's Hawken by Investarms which is pretty much the same as the Churchill. I have had it for about 30 years and it has been a very good rifle. It has a 29" barrel with 1 in 48 twist and is a very good shooter.

http://www.investarm.it/media/pdf/manuale_avancarica_uk.pdf Heres a link for a site I found when I got my Investarms which is basically what you got

I've seen a couple of Churchill Hawkens over the years at gun shows or gun shops. As others have said they are similar to Cabelas and others made by Investarms.

I have had two Lyman's by Investarm, a GPR in .54 and a Trade Rifle in .50. I thoroughly enjoyed them both. I especially like the deep rifling, .010" in .50 cal. They were both attractive rifles and good shooters. I doubt that you will be disappointed - John

I have 6...all were "keepers" (but plan on selling 3) Just cant get nobody hooked enough to hunt w/me and I had two of each caliber for that reason. Pop would put he was called to the great above and a culling is in the works.
