385 gn Hornady "Great Plains", hollow base, hollow point hunting bullet loaded over 90 gns 2f Goex. T/C factory 1:48 twist barrel with improved ( Non-T/C) iron sights. Ragged one-hole groups off a rest at 50 yds, and excellent performance on game ( hogs and deer).

450 grain bullet for the 50-70 sized to fit TC 50.

Most accurate bullet i ever shot from any muzzle loader. Also the most recoil.

My Grey Hawk preferred the 410gr flat base Buffalo Bullet back when they were available.

I've shot the Hornady Great Plains bullets, 383 grains? 385?
For my own particular rifle, the most accurate bullets have been the Thompson Center maxi hunters in 275 grains. Have taken deer out to about 100 yards with simple iron sights.
