Here's my snubbie, an 1860 that Cabelas was selling a few years ago already cut down. I recontoured the barrel lug to match that found on many 1860 cartridge conversions, plugged the rammer hole and reblued. I had a spare 8" barrel that I fitted to the frame. Since this photo was taken I also fitted a Kirst gated cartridge cylinder to it. So now the gun can be fired either in orginal percussion mode or with .45 S&W cartridges in either barrel length. I plan to also fit a birdshead grip to it.
