Hi All,

I'm pretty new to the site and have just posted a couple of questions over in the Gun Builder's Bench part of the forum. I just picked up a Lyman .54 Caliber Plains Pistol and finally got a chance today to go out and shoot it. I was truly surprised at how well the pistol shoots. I played around with several different powders and amounts of powder and even though they all shot well I got three balls in one ragged hole at 30yards. That was with FFg Goex at thirty grains. I can't get my centerfire revolvers or pistols to shoot this tight. Look forward to spending some time here and learning what I can. Great site! I already put the camera and targets away but I'll try and snap a pic or two of them to show.
