I have the below custom built mule ear rifle for sale. BruceHH built the gun and completed it in October of last year. It has been fired and sighted in. It is very accurate with a .530 round ball and .018 lubed patch. The price I paid was $1,775 about 6 months ago. I'm asking $1600. I accept USPS Money Orders or certified check or you can use a credit card on electronic platforms for 3% fee.

I've used from 70-80 grains Goex FFFg and the 100-yard accuracy off the bench has been 3.5-inch 5-shot groups. It likes 45 grains of the same powder for 25-yard shooting with virtually one-hole groups, although I only shot a few shots with this load at this range. Total shots 62 PRB. I've shot 60 on the range and 2 in the field. Meticulously cleaned after use.

I might do a trade for a .62 Jaeger Flintlock.

I bought this rifle on a whim to see how I'd like it. It is just not for me. In one ground blind I can't maneuver it enough to get it out a window. On another it is a game of Twister. In the tree stand it is kind of clumsy. It does not fit in my safe. For me, it is just too long. I've got 2 front sights so you can set it at whatever range you want, and two nipples should you need a spare. On another interesting note, my Durrs Egg L&R Flintlock drops right in and you can use a 1/4X28 vent liner to easily make it a flintlock. You'll need to drill the lock holes in the lockplate if you get a Durrs Egg Flintlock to convert this rifle. My lock had holes already and they're not in the right spot, so I never tried this rifle as a flintlock.

I want $1600 and I will ship it in a secure wooden crate.

Bruce makes great guns!! I almost bought this one when originally offered ( I bought the the .32 instead).

One update, after reviewing notes from speaking with Bruce. He shot 3 or 4 groups to set the windage before I received it. So the actual shot count is around a dozen more than I reported. Bruce also noted that .535's were pretty tight fit.
