I have finally made the move to a few hand made rifles, so my old friend needs to move on to a new home.

Rifle is in outstanding condition with a great piece of wood. I bought this rifle new so long ago I don’t remember when it was. Date code is BD. Bore is excellent. Overall finish I would rate at 90%.

Ramrod is original to the rifle.

The only two mods I have done are to replace the adjustable rear sight with a fixed traditional sight (a .535 ball over 85 grains of Goex 3F hits dead on at 75 yards) and I had the crown recessed to ease loading. See pics.

$550 shipped to its new home. You won’t find one as pretty as this now.

Rifle still has its original oil finish. I just wiped it down with some Brakefree to make the grain pop for the pictures. So it won’t be glossy all the time.

I keep the exterior metal on my guns wiped down with Brakefree from time to time to keep them free of rust.

Was looking at new GPRs this week and you won’t see new wood anything like this one.

I will look for the rear sight. Honestly don’t know where it would be it’s been so long. The rifle is in Texas.

Packed in a box and shipped USPS (have done a couple recently) will be about $30.

A young lad in college bought a GPR kit several years back and I put it together for him. I was extremely impressed with how it turned out. We shot the rifle and was planing on working up a load it liked.I had a Ithaca Hawkin that was an excellent shooter so I started with the load it liked. His gun liked it as well as it shot just as good as my rifle. The only fault I found with the GPR was the snell looked like someone cut the side off.Whoever purchases your rifle is going to get a good shooter if the barrel is the same as my friends.
