SOLD .54 Pre-Warning TC Hawken

This is a well maintained TC Hawken in.54. It is pre-warning and a K prefix (Eeek!) kit gun. The barrel is easily 95+%. Wood is VG with some thinning finish around cheekpiece. Bore is VG. Shiny with a few pinprick pits. I received it with a dry ball in clean barrel. Probably shot very little before the dry ball incident and put away. Ball removed and barrel cleaned. Asking $475 SHIPPED.

Uhhhm, if it has "Black Powder Only" on the barrel then by definition it's not a Pre Warning rifle...

OK. I guess I always assumed the big banner script was "Warning," as other guns had Black powder only in discrete lettering. There IS a warning, so only use Black Powder. You've been warned.

This is what I always assumed identified a "Post Warning" rifle. Big banner script. If that is incorrect, just call it a nice TC Hawken and make your own judgements.

Dang, I wish I didn’t have too many already! Someone did a real nice job on that one. Maybe the best stock details I’ve seen on a kit gun. (the lock panels always get rounded over and destroyed…)
