I used to work at a sporting goods store....you wouldnt believe the number of rifles bought the NIGHT before opening day.....sale or no sale.
I actually had a guy tell me he put his rifle away after the last season, and couldnt remember where he put it, so he needed a new one.....the NIGHT before season opener. Lets just say I was amazed, but made some good money.
