This gun has served me well and have taken four deer with it, two at what I consider long range, between 100 and 120 yards. 46" rice barrel, with a nock type hooked breach.

I use muzzleloaders for the regular season, but we have a muzzleloading season, for which I have a buck tag. I plan on using a different gun and some of Swampy's bear grease to help send a ball on a smooth journey.
Thanks for looking!

Now that is it,,, "the" it in fact,, and your choice of background set it off just perfect,,I would say you have background in composition/photography????..the steps could be cropped out,,but the rifle is it....!!

Thanks Bill. Yes I made the gun. I'm not sure about the art stuff, it is a fully functional weapon that has taken deer.
Sperit, I have no background in photography and any indication that some skill was applied in the taking of these pictures is pure accident. I have seen some really well photographed guns here. Thank you all the same :hatsoff: .

That's a beauty for sure Robby!
:hatsoff:
I figured you might have used a .54/.58cal for the 110yd buck down below

You have a God-given talent Robby. Are you a jeweler by profession?

Who made the barrel and what is the gun's weight.

That is a work of art that I would be afraid to hold.

TinStar
Soli Deo Gloria!

TinStar, It is a Rice barrel. I got in on a special run of barrels that are swamped more like originals, not as radically swamped as most modern makers configure them. It weighs in between seven and eight pounds, and is easy enough to carry all day long, even for those of us that are thought to be past our prime!
