I purchased a cva mountain rifle in 58 cal. An older gentleman redid the stock to look like curly maple and the barrel was unfired. Unfortunately before he could shoot it he passed away. He did a fine job. I have shot it and it shoots fantastic. Missing adjustment screw for the set trigger however. Does anyone no the size or where to get one? Thanks

Deer Creek Products ( Deer Creek Products - Home ) is the distributor for CVA / Traditions parts. While that screw is not listed in their catalog,, I recommend giving them a call. They do seem to have parts not listed.

You could also remove the triggers and take them to someplace like ACE Hardware and go through their metric screws to find one that will replace the one that is missing.

Babills,
The trigger set screw is the same size as the top bridle screw, the screw that adjust the elevation on the sight, and the screw at the back of the trigger plate for adjusting the spring.
Any way I have an extra one you can have. Send me a PM of your address and I will mail it to you.
Also that is a good looking rifle.

Thanks showed up today. But the screw ripped through the envelope and did not arrive. I appreciate the time and effort though. Thanks again.
