58 Caliber Hawken loosely based on a Jim Bridger rifle. Green Mountain barrel. Davis lock and double set triggers. Engraved by CLA artist Mike Roby. Curly maple stock, hard to capture the beauty of the stock in photos. Stock was too narrow, so 1/8" extension to the side plate; visible in close up photo. Knot near the nose cap shown in photo. Chip in the right fore stock barrel channel. Rifle has been mildly aged but is new and unfired. Barrel is 35" x 1 1/8". 3" drop at the heel. 13 3/4" length of pull. 51 1/2" overall length. 11 lbs. Fixed breech. Browned iron furniture. Started this a few years ago and finally finished. Asking $1800 plus actual shipping.

Aqua Fortis held over the stove until the green disappeared. Steel wool. Laurel Mt Lancaster Maple or Walnut stain (I can't remember which).
