6 1/4" long Flintlock lock, with unusual frizzen spring

This lock is coming from Portugal. I needed something for a wall hanger, and the price was very right. Anyway the seller claims that it is a 200 year old lock. I do not care if it is or not, because it will be perfect for my project. The thing that gets my curiosity is the very rounded frizzen spring. Has any of you seen one of these locks before? A good thought. The lock does look like it took a couple of hard trips around the block over the years....lol A funny thing is I was planning to use it to make a representative Paget Carbine, because I have an original Paget barrel that I picked up on eBay a while back. It was being sold as a very long pistol barrel. Anyway I was just now surfing the net looking at Paget carbines, and found a picture of a Portugese Paget Carbine. So this might be real, and also correct for my project. except the British used a double throat hammer, and it looks like the Portugese used a goose neck type. At any rate it will look good. Now I need to check out the rifle shoppe.
