A member here, Tom Knight, posted some pictures of his .62 cal flintlock pistol a while ago. I was admiring it & he built me one. Due to some family problems & recent death in the family, I've not yet gotten the wood completely finished to my satisfaction, but I have had it out to shoot a bunch of times. It is great fun to shoot. If you already have a .62 cal fusil, you GOTTA have a pistol to go along with it. I'm still working on shot loads for it, but with roundballs it is deadly on gallon milk jugs at 25 yards.

My good friend, John Pruitt, of Spring City, TN made that pistol for me. He's also made me a 50 caliber rifle and a 12 gauge smoothbore long gun. He will make you one too, if you want. All it will cost you is $150 plus parts. What I do is order all my parts, have them shipped to John and in a very short time he sends me a perfectly working firearm. He made my buddy a turkey gun this winter and I think it took him two weeks. I can give you his contact info if you are interested. Just let me know.

Hey Darren, That is awesome!!! I love to squirrel hunt too. I will definitely try using this on squirrel, deer, and turkey. I will try your shot pattern first. It seems like a good place to start since I have everything you just mentioned. I should get it sometime this week hopefully. Shoot straight, Randy

I forgot to mention that your flintlock looks pretty awesome and I am sure it is fun to shoot. I can't wait to start practicing with mine. Cheers, Randy.
