I have a 20 ga. Tulle that's saying to me, every time I look at her, "take me turkey hunting, take me turkey hunting." I've shot it a fair amount with balls, and plinked enough with shot loads to know the basics--anyone have any advice as to a starting load for turkeys? I realize a 12 ga would be better for hunting goblers, but the Tulle is what I have and season opens in a week. Thanks for any help.

Go up to the "Smoothbore" category, and you'll see a thread "pinned" at the very top that should have all you'll need

Thanks, Roundball, there is a lot of info in the thread you mentioned. Bill, the Tulle is the only French firarm I've ever seen that I'd take to a hog killin'. A friend of mine in Ga. made this one for a customer 15 years ago or so, and the first owner shot it a few times and decided he wanted a modern gun; I found the Tulle on a trade blanket at a rendezvous in Ala, paid $400 for it, as recall, and won a primitive rifle match with it the next day shooting PRB's at 15-25 yards. On of my better gun buys.
