Last wk. I recieved a custom mould from Accurate mould's. Again the service was fast and friendly , and the quality of the mould is as good as it gets. Yesterday I smoked the mould and heated the pot with scrap lead pipe pieces.Heated the mould along side the lead pot as I always do. Like usual it took a few pours five or so, before the mould got to the right temp. Here is the result .697" @ 692GR. A .54 ball to compare, the first bullets for the M1803-41-51 Jaeger .72 cal. Notice the two grooves are not for grease , but for tying the paper cartridge to the bullet with string. Now rolling the paper cartridges. Shooting the( Close to original bullet )in the old Jaeger rifle should be fun! ,,,DT

Nice Kammerlader, same bullet. The M1803/41/51 and the Kammerlader used the same bullet , I'm told. The original has more of a point . Waiting on my copy of ( From Musket to metalic cartridge) By Oyvind Flatnes. He and others have been very helpful over there , with information on the M1803/41/51 .,,,DT

There is a pic. of the 1803/41/51 Jaeger rifle in the Percussion section , the rifle for these bullets here.,,DT
