Ok, I'm stumped.

The Possible Shop stocks Long hammock's Octagon Pistol Barrel (1 1/8" Across Flats x 12" Long, #27-1812) in .78 caliber, but for the life of me I can't find a round ball mold for it.

So where should I look?

Thanks in advance,

Dixie Gun Works has a brass blank (?) that they will make into any size from (?) to .800 in .001" increments. Never seen one but have been thinking about it. No spue cutter. Either cut with nippers or have a local machinist mill it flat and add your own.
Think they are around $35.00 and the handles are attatched.
Like I said, never seen one and have no idea how good (bad) they are.

Click on the link to Jeff Tanner, at the top of the page, and see what he has to offer.

I would not go any further than Jeff Tanner's molds. I am verry happy with my mold from him. Especially as he will hapily make all those odd ball sizes. BJH

Story,
Jeff Tanner for sure. He also delivers faster than you can imaging. Needed a mold for my Swedish flintlock-musket last year. Ordered at the same time .690, .695 and .700 from Jeff for the same price that one Lyman-mold .690 costed me (Lyman arrived 6 weeks later).

Story, I found my original.77cal ball mold at the local gun show paid $20.00

Jeff Tanner does a mighty fine job. He's done two molds for me so far, an .80 and a .995". And they both fly true.

Nuff said :)

Story,
Magnus Wiberg, www.musketandrifle.nu, is a friend of mine. He just finished a 2 weeks journey with his T-Ford through Sweden north-south (2000 km)! He made me a Swedish Matchlock musket model 1620 (caliber 20 mm) some years back.My Swedish flintlock musket I use is an original model 1826.
