A box for a jig saw

We all know just how easy it is to bend an electric jig saw blade.
Here’s one solution:
Pretty self explanatory, the third shot shows the holes for the saw blade, dosen’t matter which way it goes in and there is a hole in the base at one end to get out any thing that falls through.

Nicely made -- I keep my jig saw in its original case and I remove the sawblade when stored. :thumb: :ghostly:
 
You can reduce the breakage of blades by keeping the cut depth to a minimum and not exposing the blade too long vibrating unnecessary cuts.
 
Fun little box. Not sure what it has to do with muzzleloading, or gun building, but neat none the less.
Thanks for the kind remarks, I only just saw this while having a look for something else, else I’d have replied earlier.
With a fine tooth metal cutting blade and upside down in the vyce, it’s dandy for cutting inlays and patch box parts etc.
I’ve made a small table from scrap ply that fits on the saw.
