Just finished a 54 caliber

halfstock Colonial, using a second stock and all the normal colonial parts. Saves a few dollars on a hunting rifle and makes a more unique gun. Made the under rib from curly maple this time.
 
I done the same thing, using a 12 gauge barrel that was a perfect fit to the barrel channel.
