Just became the owner of this old fowler. It is approximately a 20 ga. with a 36 inch round barrel. A walnut half stock, nicely checkered, with the barrel held in place with a single wedge. There are no markings on the lock or barrel.
Any thoughts or help on identifying this old piece would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.

It looks repairable, The cracks in the stock can be fixed. Do you know someone who could magniflux the barrel? I believe all old guns should be throughly checked before loading and firing.

Great looking shotgun! Bet it could tell a few stories. I'm sure someone will be along here shortly who can tell you more about it.
