A lock cover for a friend

I finished this lock cover for my friend, Brian Peterson's, percussion cap rifle this past weekend and was able to give it to him Saturday. I was worried about the fit since I based my pattern on some measurements I took from photos he sent me of his rifle. I am absolutely amazed it worked out as well as it did! The strap could have been a little longer but it looks like it will be okay.

Now he just needs to come up with some elk backstraps as payment.
