Hi, all. I, am new here, just getting my feet wet. Been doing some reading, and learning. I, was going to put this on, welcome to the camp. However, that says, no questions. It would have been great if I would have found this a long time ago. Any way, I am from Canton, ohio. Reading and learning is fine but , I am getting the itch to put some of this into use. I, do not have a Ml or any thing else at this time. Is there a place where some of you guys get together to shoot, camp or get together? It is January now, so that may give me some time to get a few things. Thank you, every one.

You may have better luck posting in the regional forums toward the bottom of the main page. You will find a Great Lakes section that includes OH, IN, IL among other states. I'm from Illinois, if you were closer I would invite you over for a cup of coffee and a local club show in March. Since your a ways off, you might have luck finding a closer show or shoot in your area by posting in the regional section or possibly looking for clubs registered with the NMLRA.

There are trade fairs all around the state in the wintertime. Not from your area so I'm not exactly sure where there are ones over there. There's one in Fremont in the next few weeks, but that's a bit of a drive.

Look up Smoke and Fire and get a subscription to their newspaper. Tell you all sorts of events going on everywhere.

There are also rendezvous that you might enjoy. Camping, shooting, etc, typically done in primitive garb.

Howdy OEB,
Consider a drive over to the Log Cabin Shop, on Rt. 42, North of Lodi. Inside the door are pocket folders holding various clubs shoot schedules. Mosey back to the rear counter and ask the guys there for more details.

Top of the day to take OEB, as a matter of fact there is a M/L Club up to Canal Fulton. It's a very active club, in fact we have a shoot coming up on April 7th and the 14th. We start shooting practice round 10:30am, shoot for record at noon. Shoot usually over by 3om.
If you look it up on the internet u will find the information. It's Canal Fulton Ramrod Club. Bring your rifle and shoot with us, good time and good prizes.

There's a club in canal fulton.shoots eve. .. hy first and third Sundays been doing that since 1812 shoot thru a window in the winter. P out doors in the summer any metallic sight and patched round ball . On a cold winter Sunday we will have upwards of 30 shooters . Best place I've ever shot at hope you find this reply Canal Fulton ram rod club . Open to everyone. Really a good bunch of guys .
