Looking to thin my 19th Century items to focus on some 18th Century projects I have going on.

For sale is this very nice example of an Wickham contract M1816, in its original configuration as a flintlock musket, thankfully this one escape being converted to a percussion cap in the 1840s.

Bore is decently bright, gave it a good scrub and a good a polish as one can for a weapon thats over 200 years old can be. Metal is in good shape with some light pitting and patina, as is the wood overall, some light cartouche marks still evident. Some shrinkage of the wood around the buttstock. Let the pics do the talking, if you want more photos let me know!

Asking $1700 shipped to the lower 48. Will accept banker check, personal check, money order or PP friends and family.

Still available for sale. Would consider for or towards trade for flintlock fowlers, brown bess variations, or other similar Revolutionary War era pieces.
