I came back to gaze once again at this rifle, Would the triggerguard and buttplate be german silver or brass ? I have one almost as old and would perhaps like to add a silver triggerguard such as this. Thanks for posting.grizzy adams said:I found diss video and would like to share , its the cats pajamas , what a beautyfull rifle. :hatsoff:

Got his decimal point off a little. :wink:The insured value of this rifle is $18,000.00 At auction it would likely bring between $12,000.00 to $15,000.00
Obviously the work of a skilled craftsman but $18K? I would venture the production costs of the video was greater than the true value of this rifle. That said, I wouldn't be ashamed to carry this rifle in the Rockies with elk as my objective.Mike Brooks said:"All handmade lock and triggers".....looks like a siler to me with old set triggers from Spain.
