I like your squirrel skinner, I tried a different design but couldn't get it to work like the guys that sells them put out in a video. I have tried the step on the tail method which had never worked well for me either.

I love eating squirrels but they are a pain to skin.

I've made a couple skinning brackets, close to what is in Darrin's picture. I still have difficulty pealing the hides off as slick as the videos show. Tge step on tail method usually results with a tailless dead squirrel. If i shot dozens every year suppose i would get better, but I just don't.
