So David G and I go up to a gun show this weekend... well David's wallet was burnin a hole in his pocket. As a result he came back with a few nice items. He bought a couple original horns, nothin fancy but old none the less. One had a pretty good size hole in it.

No glue was used and I didn't have to pull the plug either.

i may jus has to send ya a horn to put one of them patches on to "age" it! ...do it gotta have a hole in it??? nice job roy!...

 . Nice job Roy, and to me it just makes a plain ole original horn more attractive.

thanks
sort of kickin myself for not getting a before pic, but it really did change the look of the horn. Peening over the copper without a mandrel was the tricky part...

Nope, it doesn't HAVE to have a hole in the horn to "need" a repair. The horn made for me by a good friend has just such a "repair" over solid horn! Emery
