A Sharps project

Got the case coloring done, about what I was aiming for and the markings are all clear. Next a bit of cleaning of the wood then it can go back together.

I’ve done about all that I can with this old Sharps, if it will stop raining for day or two some shooting is in order.

This came out AWESOME!!! Can't wait to see what the targets look like.
Might even look better than my Farmingdale! Actually now that I think about it the wood on yours certainly is better.
Mine needs the surface cleaned then the pores filled in.

I am really impressed. Congrats on the great job. Have you shot it yet?

I'm waiting for an original 1863 I just bought to arrive. Mine will have to remain in worn finish condition as I would not be able to do what you did. Looking forward to making cartridges and shooting it.
