I have had my 44 cal Remington revolver for years and never had a pistol stand. Too lazy I guess, but thought it was time. Had some wood left over from a tear out job in the house that the little lady requested. I just had to remove the varnish, but worked out OK. The 1/2 round grooves under the base are only there because the wood was fluted for the original home installation.
This is what I came up with.

Your shop is WAY too clean! Not even any sawdust in the saw table guides....

(Nice support on your stand, really thought that one out!)
That is the garage and I use the Stihl leaf blower on the two saws after use with the door open of course. Takes about a minute to clean.
Thanks

that was my first thought too. about the shop being too clean...
pistol stand is pretty cool too

No daylight seen between the revolver grip and curved stand base. Looks like a good build.

I've always thought a clean workshop is safer. Good show there, too.:thumb:

I always think a super clean work shop means not much is being done in it! Tisk Tisk I do like the revolver stand as well! Might want to add a cylinder press to it. That takes all the strain out of the loading ram on the revolver.
I have three hand gun loading stands and a cylinder press. Two are for single shots and one for revolvers.
For revolvers, I find the cylinder press the most useful.
