Added Elk Season in Michigan

Just talked with Brian Mastenbrook, DNR biologist here in Gaylord, and they are adding another Elk Hunt here Starting Jan 16, 2007. 57 slots to be drawn from the 2006 apps. Yahoo, a few of us might get a surprize Christmas present. I guess they are getting tired of Elk crossing I-75, and bending cars. Maybe I'll get lucky
