I am I need of advice. I asked a "gunsmith" to drill and tap a TC tang sight on my TC Renegade. In so doing, he managed to drop the small ball bearing that acts as a detent in the sight. It is lost. after much searching I gave up. Obviously he did not charge me, but I need that bearing to reassemble the sight and make it functional. Any ideas? Thank you.

Might not work, but contact T.C.....they don't make the old rifles anymore, but they might still have parts

Near me, ACE Hardware has drawer of ball bearings of all sizes. The Marbles Sight Company also uses those ball bearings it their sights, for their tang aperture sights; they might send you a couple.

I buy the larger ones and roll them (covered in lapping paste) in the muzzle of new-to-me rifles where the crowns may need a touching up.

Why is this thread in the FOR SALE section?

TC has a lifetime warranty on the renegade. Contact them. I did and they put a new sight on my barrel. I had to send it to them, though.
