All I do is use a small diameter hose I screw into the touch hole threads after I remove the lock. You can find the hose in the plumbing section at Lowes. I put the hose in a small bucket of warm soapy water and pump my ramrod with a wet patch sucking water into the barrel. follow this with dry patches and then a oiled patch. I clean the lock in warm soapy water using a brush and let dry and oil. :v
