"American Primeval" Netflix Western

A knowledgeable friend just watched it (streaming on Netflix) and reports it to be very authentic. Pre-Civil War weapons, noticeable differences between Indian tribes, etc. Reviews all stressed grit and realism. I have to wait until it comes out on DVD, me being somewhat behind the times!

I like the show too. Still some things are not right. It's 1857 and brass revolvers were never made by Colt. No confederate brass revolvers were made until sometime later. There is a very quick shot of a Colt revolving rifle that could have been there barely .
