Actually I just wanted to pick up a display case for my pistols today. Unfortunately there was an antique dealer nearby.

So i came home with new pistols 😂
Thank God I have a wife with a lot of patience:thumb:

The special are the folding rear sights.
And the overpressure spigots on the Nippel socket.
(I hope that`s correct in english)

Made by: Johann Dörfler in Elbogen.

Outstanding! Thank you for sharing these with us!

I believe the "over pressure spigots" are what we would call "blowout plugs" in American English.

These are remarkable pistols... Double set triggers, folding rear sights, and they are numbered "1" and "2". The embellishment (engraving and checkering) is beautiful. The attention to detail is extraordinary... All of the screw slots are regulated, parallel to the bore, including the hammer screw!

I've never seen anything quite like them. Are they smooth bored, or rifled? What is the bore size? Did they come in a case, or with accessories?

Thank you!

Take a look at these. They are my pride. Also because of the story behind it.

You've certainly got a honey hole there, with plenty of matched pairs - ROCK ON ! ! :thumb:

You are fortunate in many regards. Enough funds to purchase these pistols, the availability of fine original pistols, and an understanding wife.
