I bought this rifle a few years ago on an auction here in South Africa. I believe it belonged to Derek Engelbrecht, one of our Interntional shootists, who competed internationally in the early 2000s, who is unfortunately deceased.

It is made up of original parts and has German silver furniture and a late English Lovell percussion cap. It seems to be fitted with a set of early Mike Neumann sights, well the spare level fits off my later sights, perfectly. The sling is made from an old Sam Browne. The rifling is the same as the pedersoli Gibbs, same twist and rifling type. Discussing the rifle with one of the old hands he said this was fitted with a Beaver Barrel. Certainly one of my favourite rifles to shoot. Lighter than my Gibbs but I find I fit it well.

Kia Ora. My word that's gourgous.
I Love long range shooting. That's 1 super rifle.
What caliber is she? & do you have a mould for her?
I'm guessing ahead??? .45???
Have fun 👍
