Hi All!
Been a member for awhile so thought I'd finally introduce myself at last
Been shooting for close to 40 years but developed the taste for black powder around 32 years ago
Just love shooting and handling these beautiful works of art.Now have my 15 yr old son Ethan involved in it as well .Started out with a 45 Uberti percussion Hawken which I hunted with for years .Got serious then and got a custom built Green River Rifle in 54 Hawken not long after that along came another GRRW .36 Southern Mountain Rifle. Now I target shoot with a Custom Muldowney .50 Lancaster and the son has an early Muldowney in .50 as well now.In my spare time I build custom Take Down Recurves
We live n the north eastern corner of New South Wales in Australia
If I can work out the system of posting a photo I will post a few pics of the above ML's under the Photo Forum.I look forward to talking to you all in the future

These are a great bunch of blokes on this site. I am a relative newcomer to BP shooting, but have learned heaps here - all information is generously given and unlike other websites, very few barneys.

So welcome from a fellow countryman. If you can find your way down to the snow country, lets go shoot some fallow deer!!!

Best Wishes

Welcome Stace! I sure would love to go visit down there. AIt's the only continent that I have not ever set foot on. Wife unit and I have a friend that lives there. She is the woman that introduced us to each other. We haven't seen her is a few years. She married an Ausie and moved down under. I share your love of the recurve bow and I'd love to take a crack at one of those Buffalo that you have down there with my .54 Hawken.
