Hi, I'm Len AKA trader47. Living about 50 miles north of St. Louis on the Mississippi. In my younger days I shot with the 14th Indiana Vol. a civil war group. After that I got into rendezvous for a few years then retired to live the RV dream. After about 15 years of RV dreams & blowing a LOT of $$$ we retired again, bought a little stick house on the river and plan for this to be our last retirement. I have what I'm thinking could be a poor boy rifle. If you guys don't mind a few photos I would very much like your opinions please.

Hi Len, my wife is from Calhoun county. I assume you must be up in Pike county. Lots of places to shoot over there. One of the finest ranges in downstate IL is at PASA Park in Barry. I do not know if they have a group of muzzleloaders there or not. Inexpensive membership and they boast of an estimated 10,000 ticks per acre on the rifle range. They have a website. Welcome!

The village of Hamburg, (pop. about 90 people full time residents) Calhoun County is where I hang my hat. I know Berry well, went to a few of their gun shows, I'll check on the BP groups, would be nice.
