Finally registered for this great forum!

I used to be a "Ky Flinter," but it snows too much up there, so Fla is home now. Just put round 401 through my .50 cal flinter (longrifle) today. Slight breeze, not a cloud in the sky, 77 degrees, and the humidity in FL is starting to go down...

Pleased to meet you all!

Greg

Fla Flinter,
welcome to the forum glad to have you with us.
it's 39 cloudy and damp at the present time here in central ohio but no sand fleas or hurricains.
hope you will join in whenever you can.
again welcome and stay active
I am snake-eyes :peace:  :)

Welcome to the forum...

Round 401, eh?

Muzzleloading is addicting, before long you will be shooting round 4001... :haha:

Well, as another Floridian..welcome. I am in Jacksonville and it is overcast and damp. At least it is not the usuall "Windy" hurricane time. That will soon for over...untill next year..... :curse:  :shake:  :sorry:

Hope you came out ok...or did you miss them :peace:

Hey...going to the Alafia???? or Southeastern in Tallahassee??

Welcome!! You must have done considerble research to find the bullseye for storms on the east coast.I don't find the humiditity to be a big problem, just need to take more time in cleaning and preserveitives.Florida is a gun friendly State! Our muzzleloaders are only treated as "firearms" if possessed durring a crime.I live in Starke ,not far from Tipis.Looking forward to Your posts. :redthumb:

Hi Tipis,

Please clue me in on the Alafia and the Southeastern in Tallahassee ... I've never been to any events in Florida (only lived here four years). I don't have the full-up traps for a longhunter - I started out 30 years ago in CW and have full-up hard core "stitch Nazi" traps for that, but I got bored with percussion and minie bullets...

Thanks,
Greg
