Another newbie

Hey all..

Just signed on here... Dont even own a muzzleloader yet.. Have plenty of other assorted guns..

My gun club had a youth day this past weekend.. We had about 200+ scouts plus others come out for the day to shoot 22s, skeet, archery and black powder..Gotta get the next generation of voters on the right track!

Anyway long story short I've been shooting Cowboy action there for about a year and knew that some of the cowboy shooters also participated in BP meets so I helped that group get the kids through..Started off just helping the kids get a sight picture, putting on the cap and making sure they shot the steel pig and not the other scouts.. Then took a turn at loading.

Had a blast in more ways than one.. Think I got a bit of black powder in a cut I had and now I'm hooked!

If you hadn't have gotten it in a cut, you'd have absorbed it through your skin. Black powder is the most addictive substance known to man. Welcome to the addiction! :thumbsup:

Just bought my 1st muzzleloader from right here in the for sale section. A Traditions Springfield Hawkins and placed an order for lots of stuff with a forum sponsor The Possible Shop..
