Another Patch Lube Question

I was visiting a blackpowder arms dealer in my neck of the woods, and the subject of patch lubes came up. I asked him what his favorite lube was, and he said he used GOJO hand cleaner :what: I know it contains petroleum distillates and lanolin but I've never heard of it being used as a patch lube. Have any of you all used it as a lube, if so, what were the results? Just curious.

Petroleum products leave a nasty crud in the barrel, I'm told. I never use anything with petroleum anything in it. It's also not PC, but that may or may not be a factor for you. :imo: :results: :thumbsup:
