ordered a uberti walker from an outfit called 'wholesale hunter.' was referred to them by a guy at Cimarron f/a. ordered in late dec. and it's still not here. can't tell if the customer service person I talked to was either lying or was genuinely as exasperated as me. the story was that when they ordered my gun the outsourced seller wouldn't ship it to a non-ffl dealer.
use your imagination from there. I feel like I got buffaloed.

I've run into a couple of sellers who will not ship an ML to a private person; it has to be shipped to an FFL.
All the legal explanations don't sink in, and I've just had them sent to a guy I know with an FFL. He just laughs and hands me the box when it comes in, free of charge.

I'd be asking for a full refund if it were me. Sometimes you gotta pay a little more to get reliable honest deals. i hope it works out.

Yeah it can be pretty stupid at times, but depending on where the business is physically located, often dictates their policies. Ship it to an FFL and Little Johnny Junior Felon doesn't end up with a rather substantial looking handgun (even if he isn't smart enough to make it really work) Some states define a cap-n-ball revolver as a full fledged firearm.

I'd ask for a refund. Especially IF they don't say up front "Will only ship our black powder replicas to an FFL address".
