Another Powder Horn, a Special One

Mods, I apologize if this is inappropriate as it’s a modern spin on a traditional item, but I thought Forum members may be interested. I was asked to make a powder horn for a friend who was with the Army 52nd EOD. I took some artistic liberty on my traditional design and work. The end cap is his insignia for the 52nd Ordnance Group. The spout plug is a carved bomb with three fins from the historical EOD patch. Everything was hand worked and carved.

John that is well done and I'm sure special to him in ways only he can understand. I have done quite a few for Vet's always incorporating their military background in ways that were eighteenth century but reflected the 20th and 21st to those that knew and understood.
