I had one decent large antler tip left, so I made this one to hold 100 gr. The spirals make two revolutions around. The brass ring ball is threaded onto a steel shank threaded into the antler. The ring ball was a modified lamp finial nut.

Nice work, Wick!

And now since you're out of antler tips....how's about I send you some muley antler tips and you send me back one of your beautiful measures? :hmm:

Steve

Wick, the two measures that you have made that I have seen thus far on this forum are outstanding and of the finest craftmanship!

Steve

Wicke thats great! again as usual you have made us aware of the fine craftsmen you are  :hatsoff:

Wick I was going to start on one tomorrow. After eye ballin your work I think I will just let the dog chew on it and save some time :( Prob haft to give it to the dog before I work on it as even dogs have standards on what they chew on. Very nice Wick. Larry Wv

Naw man. As long as you don't drill out the side for the powder cavity, as happens to me much too often, you can make one. Copy mine, or dream up something different. Go for it.

:hatsoff: Your gonna have to bring a few of those along with ya to the CLA this year. Top notch!

Wick, for heaven's sake, what is the limit of your skill and talent? Inspired by your earlier measure I sat down with a file and an antler tip and in about 30 minutes of fiddling proved to myself that I have ZERO, NADA, NONE!

Not too bad(again for a old guy) whats the white stuff on the rr tie?
No wonder your wife cant keep the shades on her lamps!
Im tellin on you
