I popped on another TC tang sight. I did not drill the rear screw yet, I'll see how it regulated with the front fiber optic sight. It seemed to map to the williams barrel sight I just removed. On both the Woodsrunner, and SMR, I carefully bent the body where it is notched for the stem. That slight bend allows the sight to follow the curvature of the tang. I initially was going to make a shim, but the bend is a ton easier. The TC tang stem is a bit long, and it bottoms out, but it has room to be lowered on the top of the stem. So if I need to lower it, I can file off 1/4 inch off the bottom of the stem. I had to replace the Kibler tang screw with one sourced from the hardware store. Naturally it needs to be longer for mounting.
As a side note, I have a bag of sights, both front and rear. I have Pedersoli, TC, Redfield international, globe sights, fiber optic sights, etc. Great to be able to swap sights out, and get a great combination. Unfortunately, I can't find the bag, and I have been sick over it for a few weeks. All that stuff is hard to find. Insane I can't find it.
