Hello,

I'm Mark and new to traditional muzzleloading. Been interested in firearms most of my life. Got into traditional archery and figured muzzleloading would fit right in the middle ground between the sticks and strings and modern rifles.

I'm in the Navy, and am an Independent Duty Hospital Corpsman on submarines. I find traditional hunnting and time in the woods to be just the therapy I need to ballance the part of my life where stress revolves around so much steel, and technology.

Welcome. You'll find a wealth of knowledge here on traditional fire arms here. So have a seat and fill yer tin cup as the coffee's just finished boiling. Subs huh ? Not this boyo this nor the next life. But glad ta know theres someone who will. :hatsoff:

Doc, nice to run into you on another forum. This one is great for information, too. Guess i need to keep up with this section much better as I like to extend welcomes to newcomers.

Welcome Mark, great folks and info around here. Do you hunt? im in brunswick and love to hunt hogs after deer season, maybe we could get together sometime and make some smoke

Glad to see you made it over here Mark!!!
These folks here are willing to share a wealth of knowledge.

I do like to hunt. I'd love to try hog hunting with the muzzleloader sometime. Finding areas to hunt without paying an arm and a leg around here is the challenge for me.

I'd even be happy to meet up at a range sometime.

Welcome from a fellow frontstuffer in Pa. You're not alone friend. There will come a day when a man won't be able to hunt unless he owns a chunk of his own or has a fat wallet. :( ...Bps

Welcome to the MLF Mark! There are lots of friendly knowlegable folks here on the site. Pull up a stump and contribute when you can. Thank you for your scrafice and service.

Hey Mark,I'm an old Navy man myself, gator navy, and my home is in middle Ga..Black powder will probably be some good tonic for what ails you. That's a very nonprofessional opinion,I'll leave the medical stuff to you and my RN daughter.Allow me to say thank you for your service to our country.
